Went to the dyno

Went to the dyno today and made 3 runs.
First run I made was like 30 minutes after I got there, after driving for like an hour. First run I made 187rwhp and 284rwtq. The second run was right after making the first run and it made 162rwhp and 264rwtq. Looks like the motor gets very very hot after making a run. engine temp was at 250*F after it was shut down. The intercooler was heatsoaked and so was the engine. We then let it cool down for about 45-50 minutes and when we made another run the temps on startup was 164*F and at the end of the run it was 195ish.

The dynoshop also has a huge fan to blow air over the radiator but the way our bumper is designed it just sucks for airflow. on the last run I was pleased when I saw it hit 318 torque (looks like 320 on the graph). And 196.7rwhp. I am sure if I had a clean filter, also a bigger filter, it would of went over 200.

Alright here is the dyno graph and a/f graph.

nice numbers. what kind of restrictions do you have besides filter. im guessing MAF and maybe exhaust. you should get a smaller pully and a nice tune and see what kind of numbers you put down.
also get gears.;)

hp sells cars torque wins races dude. as long as this isnt a long distance auto cross car and its a drag car these numbers are great.

hp numbers too low. What supercharger are you running

its an m90 from super coupe, see my other thread with video. I have dual exhaust (no h-pipe) and a nice and dirty filter, using mustang maf and super coupe intake piping (small) the V on the blower is slightly ported, those are the only mods.

Not trying to make an accusation or anything....but why does that TQ number look photoshopped in? Nice torque though....

nice numbers man... .. also add some W/M and your HP
will go up by 40-60hp easy....

good luck with it

looks like he is making 328tq to me ... not 318... and yes he did
photoshopped the 318 big red number in but the graph shows 328tq..
on the 3rd run.

nice numbers man... good lock with it .. also add some M/W and your HP will go up by 60-70hp....

Fair enough...I see what he was trying to do now.

Ahh, the old adage. Too bad it's wrong. Torque doesn't win races. HP, RPM, and gear reduction are what makes podium finishes.

All the torque in the world is useless without RPM. Get things spinning and add a little torque and what do you get? HP.

Considering that you basically bolted the M90 onto your Mustang motor, those numbers look like what I'd expect. Nice torque but the hp won't set any records.
This should be a good example for all those that are wondering about "the M90 swap" and what results they should expect.
Get more air in and out of it and keep that air cool and your numbers will only get better.

I have a 96 Dodge 2500 Ram Diesel. It has 180hp and over 450 TQ and 4.11 gears.... I can tell one thing for sure...it ain't wining any races....SLOW.

I've said it before, if torque wins races all race cars would be diesels.

TQ always equals Hp at 5250 rpm.

Ya I love it :D

Also can anyone tell me how my air fuel is looking?

you're running a tad lean. ideally you want to be between 12:1 and 11:1

what are you running for injectors and a fuel pump?? if you run the supercoupe 30lb injectors with a 190lph pump you should be able to have that tuned again to run a bit happier.

you've got only one place to go and that's up.. i put a very simmilar setup on my 4.0l ranger and the hp numbers were well in the 200's.. dieing to know how much more with the new motor.
