Steering gearbox creak / squeak noise

Hi all,

Lately I've noticed a squeak/creak sound when I turn my mustang's wheel. I jacked up the car today and the noise seems to come from where the steering column goes into the steering gearbox. Maybe it's just the rubber boot needing lubricated?

I've recorded a video below. If anyone has any experience with this, I'd really appreciate it. Worst-case scenario, I guess I need to replace the entire rack and pinion assembly.

Hah, the sound went away after spraying the boot with some silicon lubricant spray.
