Opinions on my drop

Coming Soon...Coilovers.
So, I have C-Springs with all isolators in. My car cannot be slammed (which is why I got C's) because of the places I drive. I am looking for more drop though. Do you think it will look better if I pull out top & bottom iso's in the rear and the tops in the front?

I put this here and not in Chassis & Handling because I am trying to get opinions on how is will affect the appearance as well as noise.

Here are some current pics, let me know what you guys think. So far the plan is to pull out all iso's in rear and 1 up front.

What drop you think that will give me, maybe .3-.5" all around?

I think it will look better if I do that but I rub some up front when making sharp turns and dont want to make that any worse.

It won't drop you that much. I say keep em in for now.

I don't know if it would drop you .5", but it will definitely be noticable to you. I don't know what your road conditions are, but as long as your careful, it will be all good.

Still sitting pretty high for my taste. I just ordered some coilovers with 6" height adjustment because I want mine lower, and I want to be able to adjust it when i need it higher (for working under) and here is my current drop.

So I say... Get some coilovers so you can put it where you want it since you drive in some rough spots, if you have the $, if not, just get some lower setting springs. (Intrax works good on the cobra. as seen above.) or H&R sports.. not quite as low as intrax. Just my .02

I don't know much about cutting your existing springs, but maybe you could have your C-springs cut slightly so you can get that extra little drop?

I know some people cut their stock springs for the drop, but like I said, don't know much about this or how much it costs...

I have heard that removing all iso's will drop you between .3-.5" I just cant remember if I read it on this board or not. I am going to pull both of the rears out tonight after work so even if that only gives me .25" that is better than nothing

I will measure before and after and hopefully snap some pics to post up :)

I could easily cut off 1/2 a dead coil on the rears if I need to.

Hopefully I won't need to...

Interested in what it looks like. I'm looking for some springs and I'm in the same boat as yourself!
