ABS light on

Hello

Recently i bought a 2004 ford mustang v6 with the 3.9 i think maybe 3.8 and it has the abs light on when i go to scan it their is no connection i checcked the fuses and they are good which made me think it was the abs control module its self i replaced it with a junk yard one do you think the junk yard ones bad and if its good what other things can i check ps going to wrecking yard to go grab another one tomorrow

Just replaced and it didnt work

They do all seem to go bad. I sent my wife's 2002 module in to an ebay repair service (like these guys ABS EBCM EBTCM module repair rebuild for Ford Mustang | eBay - not sure if it's the same ones, this was many years ago) - just the electronic part of the module. Fixed it more than eight years ago and it's still working correctly.
