    Went to pick n pull today because it was 1/2 price day. I ended up with a 1997 8.8 from a GT and the same car had a set of eibach lowering springs. Got out of pick n pull for $100. It was a pretty good day.

    I was out driving the car around tonight and didn't have the check engine light come on at all. So I decided to check and see if it had any precodes. Everything is good, no precodes at all. It currently has 7 readies and 0 not readies. So it will pass emissions when I go to take it in.

    I checked the factory injectors that came off of my single port and from what I can tell they are 17# injectors. They are a cream color. So I wonder if the 19# inje tors I have will work. I'm going to install them tonight and see if it fixes my check engine light issue.

    Right, except I changed out the plugs to the 99-04 style. So I'll need to get a set of 14# injectors from the junkyard.

    Yeah it runs really well, I am pretty sure it is just barely out of the range that computer thinks is ok for running to rich. If I'm running down the freeway at higher RPM's it will not come on. I still could have a problem with the regulator so I'm digging into that a little this weekend.

    I talked to SCT and Bama and Bama can build me a tune with the mods I've done. SCT told me they couldn't help me at all and I needed to have custom tuning done. So I think I'm buying a Bama tuner from American Muscle. Now I just got to get $400 together for it.

    I have been doing some research, and what I think I have found is the freestar injectors I installed are 21#. The 2003 f150 4.2 came with 19# injectors. The 1996 single port came with 14# injectors. I think I'll switch back to the 19# ones for now to see if I can get the car through...

    No I haven't got a tune for it yet, that has been in the back of my mind what is causing the problem. I've worked through a lot of the other issues that it has had. So I'll figure this out also.
